For Belgian citizens and foreign nationals who hold a residence card type A, B, E+, E, F+, F, C or D, or an orange temporary residence card ("attestation d'immatriculation").
The "household reference person", in other words the adult who usually deals with the household's administrative tasks, must declare their change of address, in their new place of residence, no later than eight days after the move. However, the request may be submitted no more than fifteen days prior to the move if a parking bay reservation is required. The applicant will need to present their ID card along with those of the other members of the household. This service is free.
Contact the Services de la Population (Registrations office) or declare the change of address online.
For Belgian nationals returning from abroad, go to the service de la population (registrations office) with your ID card or passport.
For foreign nationals EU who do not have a Belgian residence card (new arrivals), contact the immigration office op +32(0)25156627 (between 8am and 12pm) within 8 days of entering Belgian territory.
For foreign nationals (non-EU) who do not have a Belgian residence card (new arrivals), contact the immigration office op +32(0)25156627 (between 8am and 12pm) within 3 days of entering Belgian territory.
